What is a biscuit waffle?

The buttermilk biscuit waffles we make for our sandwiches are made from scratch made biscuit dough that is cooked in a round waffle maker. It makes for a crispy exterior and fluffy interior.

what is a waffle stick?

A waffle stick is made from a specialty waffle maker we use to get a desirable shape (a stick shape) for the ultimate finger food experience. Not a waffle on a stick, but rather a waffle shaped like a stick!

do you do just plain waffles?

No, we’re not your momma’s waffles! We take a new innovative approach to waffles. What will we waffle next?

where can i find the truck?

We list all our events open to the public on our website under our page Find Us Next.

do you have a store front or multiple trucks?

We do not have a store front, only have the one truck, and are a two woman show. And we take our business SUPER seriously. ;)

i have special dietary needs, what about me?

We can always accommodate vegetarian guests at our public and private events, however for guests that are vegan or gluten-free*, we cannot accommodate at our public events. For private caterings, we will need to know the exact number of those guests prior to booking. Additional charges may occur if special ingredients or extra prep-time is needed. *Due to the nature of our food, we can only accommodate for Gluten-Friendly guests. GF foods we make will be prepped separately, but there may be risk for cross-contamination as they may be cooked in the same waffle makers as our other food items.

I see a food item on your website, but you don’t have it at the event I’m at, what gives?

Our menu for public events changes frequently and often. Since our repertoire of menu items is so large, we are not able to offer every item at every event we go to. We try to switch things up based on seasonality, type of event we’re at, other food vendors present, etc. We typically have a few different biscuit waffle sandwich options, waffle stick items, sides, vegetarian friendly and kid friendly options, and perhaps a dessert. We always post our menu on our Instagram and Facebook pages prior to an event, so be sure to follow us for the most up to date information!

how do i book the truck for my public event?

Send us a message under the Contact Us page on our website! At this time we are only licensed in Montgomery & Bucks Counties in PA to vend at events open to the public. Please provide as much information as you can about the event including date, time, location, # of attendees, # of other vendors, etc. Need help figuring out how many trucks to hire for an event? This article will help: How Many Food Trucks to Hire?

How big is the truck?

We are a tow vehicle (truck) plus food trailer and will not disconnect the trailer at events. Here are our total dimensions: Length: 40’, Width 8 ½’, Height 12’.

what about parking?

Client must verify in advance that we are allowed to park at the event location site. The spot must be level (no inclines) and solid (no grass). Area must have enough room to maneuver truck and trailer into a safe parking space. A picture or map of the parking area would be extremely helpful to us prior to the event.

if i hire the truck, do i need to supply you with power?

No, we are fully self contained and use a portable generator to power the trailer. Due to the number of heating elements required for service (waffle makers), we do require a rather large and loud generator to operate properly. As a courtesy, you may want to alert any neighbors or neighboring businesses to the noise. We cannot operate without our generator unless there is a 50 amp hook up available.

how far in advance should i book?

The sooner you book the quicker you can secure the date! In most cases we need at least two (2) weeks in advance to properly schedule staff and prepare for an event. Please fill out our Catering Form (for private prepaid events) or our Contact us Form (for events open to the public) so we can save a spot for you and contact you to discuss.

how do i get a quote for private catering?

Please read about our catering services on our Catering page and fill out the form with details of your event. If we have the date available, we will send you our current catering menu with pricing info and terms and conditions. The price will depend on the type of service needed, the number of people, the number of menu items chosen, the number of hours needed for service, and the travel time involved. Once you have chosen your menu items, confirmed service hours and number of people, we will send you an electronic invoice and contract. A 50% deposit and a signed contract will reserve your date. The remaining balance is due before or on the date of your event.

what if i don’t know the exact number of people attending my party/event?

We will need a headcount in order to draw up an invoice and contract. We can always add more guests up to 2 weeks prior to the event, but we cannot take away. Some clients prefer to overestimate to account for guests wanting to get seconds, this is your call completely.

what is your cancellation/rescheduling policy?

If you have to cancel, your catering deposit is fully refundable up until 14 days before the event. If you’d like to reschedule instead, we can transfer your deposit to another day, if we have the date available. If we have to cancel due to technical problems, medical emergencies, or extreme weather conditions, balance is fully refundable.

how far will you travel?

For events open to the public we are only licensed to vend in Montgomery & Bucks Counties, PA. We may make exceptions if event host is willing to cover expenses for additional licenses/permits needed. For private events our maximum travel time is 2 hours away from our home base in Lansdale, PA.

I have sent you an inquiry, why haven’t i heard back yet?

First, always check your SPAM/JUNK email folder, sometimes our replies end up in there. Second, we answer anywhere from 5-50 inquiries a week; we do our best to get back to you within a couple of days, but sometimes it can take longer. Please kindly remember we are a two woman show. If it has been over a week and we haven’t responded, please send us another inquiry, if you typed in your email address wrong on our contact form, we have no way of reaching you!
